Hydeman Residence . Siesta Key, Florida.

This existing house, consisting of two pavilions connected by a courtyard, is located on a very busy noisy street and on the other side, a very serene natural bayou.  Deferred maintenance, unfortunate design solutions by previous owners and poor selection of original finishes contributed to our client’s desires to renovate his house.

In addition to the renovations done to the house to address issues and take advantage of the opportunities present on site, the interior spaces of the living room, media, kitchen, dressing and bathrooms were reconfigured and renovated with custom detailed cabinetry.   The owner’s artwork was re-hung, new furnishings and area rugs added.  These light and airy furnishings contribute to the openness and casual nature of this house.
