Cohen House . Siesta Key, Florida.

The house was originally designed for Mr. & Mrs. David Cohen for living, entertainment, and ensemble concerts.  Originally designed by Paul Rudolph in 1954, the renovations occurred in 2005/2006. Requirements were to document and restore the home to its original state by repairing deteriorated structural components and removing unsympathetic architectural elements.  The interiors portion of the renovation work focused on restoring original finishes, the kitchen and kitchen cabinetry, and reconstruction of the Rudolph-designed built-in furniture, integral to the original design, that had been removed.

The work was based on the original drawings, which were obtained from the Library of Congress and Photographic prints from the original Ezra Stoller negatives.  Original colors were determined by removing and analyzing several coats of paint and digitally matching the colors.
