222 Beach Road . Siesta Key, Florida.

Originally, this project consisted of ten town-houses for ten attorneys on a barrier island beachfront property.  The building represents a synthesis of the ideas of ten people in a clear, consistent composition.

Set behind the existing natural vegetation line to provide privacy from a public beach, the units are clustered around a common courtyard.  The massing of the building emphasizes the individual character of the units with a stepping composition of recessed openings.  This arrangement of the individual units allowed for views of the pristine beach and the horizon.

Services included coordination with State and local environmental agencies, interior design, and complete architectural services.

The end result was a cohesive cluster of single family town-houses nestled together with a strong simple concept.
